Frequently Asked Questions
Last updated: 28 April 2026
Who is this training for?
This training is for anyone who needs to stay effective under pressure.
That includes new starters, graduates, operational teams, technical specialists, managers, leaders and senior teams. It is not just leadership training. Resilience affects how everyone communicates, decides and performs when workload, uncertainty or change increase.
We genuinely believe that everyone can benefit from this training and the organisation benefits from everyone having a shared understanding, skills and a common language.
How many participants can attend?
Typically the one-day training courses are best run for groups of between 6 and 20 participants.
Smaller groups allow deeper discussion and practice. Larger groups can work for awareness sessions.
How long are the courses?
Our basic format is a one-day programme covering individual, team or organisational resilience although typically we find that bundling individual and team resilience together into a two-day course is the most effective approach.
Are courses delivered online or in-person?
Courses can be delivered online or in-person.
In-person is usually best for highly interactive team training. Online can work well for shorter sessions and is often the only option for distributed teams and follow-up work.
How do we choose which course is right for us?
Start with the problem you are trying to solve.
If the issue is personal stress and coping, start with individual resilience. If it is communication, coordination or team pressure, start with team resilience. If it is leadership, culture or work design, start with organisational resilience.
And if you really want to understand how we can help in more detail, just book a call. No pressure. No sales pitch.
Can the training be tailored to our organisation?
We cover set ideas that are evidence-based and drawn from Business Psychology and Human Factors research.
But yes we can adapt examples, exercises and scenarios to reflect the kinds of situations your teams face in your specific industry and the flow of the day will very much be driven by the questions we are asked and the challenges your teams are facing.
What will participants leave with?
Participants leave with a clearer understanding of how pressure affects thinking, decision-making and behaviour at work.
They will also be introduced to a small set of practical tools that help individuals and teams notice problems earlier, communicate more effectively and recover more quickly when things do not go to plan.
The aim is not just awareness but practical insight that people can use in everyday situations.
Can courses be combined into a programme?
Yes. Individual, team and organisational resilience courses can stand alone or be combined into a wider programme over several weeks or months.
